HERMANNS SUB SPECIES

 I keep and breed all 3 of the Hermanns Sub-Species. These are the Easterns Testudo Hermanni Boettgeri, Testudo Hermanni Hercegovenensis and the Westerns Testudo Hermanni Hermanni.

The Hercegovenensis, (aka The Dalmation) has strictly speaking, been declassified as a separate subspecies and is now considered a regional variation of the Eastern Hermanns Tortoise.. In my opinion, they are significantly different and are a true subspecies. I therefore keep my subspecies completely separated hope that one day these extremely beautiful tortoises will once again be recognised in their own right.
